We have invited ASIS to join us at this event to share their expertise on access control and security. Simon Leung, Executive Director of GEBAUDE Lab will share future trends of access control. He will get into the technical details of stand-alone locks VS software-based systems; online VS offline solutions; as well as the latest cutting edge access control technologies that is in research development stage in Finland and Germany. Our very own SSAA(HK) Vice-President Oliver Leung, will also share his experience on using different access control systems, and requirements that concerns self storage operators the most.

Simon joined Gebaude Lab in 2019 as Executive Director and Business Development Manager. Prior to Gebaude Lab, He was the General Manager at Tung Fat Ho Building Material Ltd (TFHBML) which is specialized in architectural ironmongery supplier and consultancy for architects and interior design according to various HK building regulations and requirements. During his tenure

at TFHBML, he oversaw both its Design Strategies and Enterprise Governance with various stakeholders in the industry.

Oliver Leung

COO, Redbox Storage

Oliver joined RedBox Storage in August 2016. In his role, Oliver manages the operational and business development of Redbox.

Oliver has over 24 years’ experience an international retail industry – Marks Spencer, IKEA, B&Q and Brighten Floriculture Limited, specializing in formulating business plan, policies, store development, identifying in the market strategies need and cataloging the kind merchandise business requirement. He has been educated UK, qualified in MBA, MSc in International Management, and Higher Diploma in Physic and Electronic. He is Charter Manager and Fellow Member of Character Management Institute in UK.

Rex entered the security industry in 2004 and has over 17 years of experience in providing security consultation for high risk clients. Rex’s professional experience comprehensively spans across research & development, system integration, training, and risk management.
